About
"It's about the journey, not just the destination."— Kamilia

Moroccan-Dutch singer/songwriter Kamilia crafts R&B and pop influenced by artists like LAUV, Kehlani and Anne-Marie. Growing up in Rotterdam, Kamilia first caught the public's eyes and ears in 2016.
Kamilia is all about stepping out of comfort zones. "When you dare to let go, you experience things on a higher level." She is simply writing things that she hasn't heard on the radio — and they happen to be resonating. "I am who I am. I'm able to show up for myself, and that's what I want to do for others. It's my biggest strength, but it's also my biggest weakness."
She is an effortless storyteller with a pure and unfiltered singing talent and songwriting ability — an instinctive gift of melody far beyond her thirty-one years. "I've been told you can't mention 'girls' in a pop song if you're a girl," she goes on. "I'm doing what comes naturally. I hope anyone can listen to my music and relate to it, no matter their sexuality."
"Kamilia is a singer/songwriter who stands up for equality. We think that's cool."
